A collection of six individual metal (hot and cold-rolled steel, copper) sculptures. Each of the sculptures is designed after and inspired by a one-on-one conversation with persons relevant to the artist’s life about the five things that have most profoundly impacted their identity – especially in the context of illness/suffering and resurgence. Words and messages are coded using a variety of symbols and techniques such as metal engraving.
